Korea Nakajo's ICEVAN Ice Dispensers Built for Robot and Unmanned Cafés

Korea Nakajo's ICEVAN B series nugget ice dispensers are designed to connect with automated equipment in robot and unmanned cafés.

SOUTH KOREA, November 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Korea Nakajo Co., Ltd., a South Korean manufacturer of ice machines, is introducing its ICEVAN B series nugget ice dispensers to operators of self-service, unmanned and robot cafés. The company says the dispensers are designed to communicate with automated equipment such as coffee machines, so ice can be part of a fully automated drink order.

Ice That Works With Automation
According to Korea Nakajo, its B series dispensers offer smart communication with automated equipment, easy installation and mobility in limited spaces, a self-diagnostic function for easier servicing, and an automated hygiene management system that handles cleaning, water supply and drainage.

For sites designed around automation, the line also includes the 1540BUT3, which the company describes as a dedicated model for unmanned systems. It produces up to 150 kg of ice per day.

Proven in Korean Cafés
In Korea, ICEVAN dispensers are installed in robot cafés, a drive-through robot café, unmanned cafés, and office and study cafés, according to the company's case materials. Models used in these sites range from the compact 0520B to the 1540B and the 1540BUT3.

A Range of Capacities
The B series covers eight models, from the 0320B to the 1540B. Daily ice production ranges from 30 kg to 150 kg, with storage of 2 kg or 4 kg. The narrowest models are 250 mm wide. The company states that the dispensers can fill a large cup with ice in 5 to 8 seconds.

Korea Nakajo holds ETL and NSF certifications, along with CE and CB. North America is one of the regions the company lists among its export markets.

Built in Korea Since 2000
Founded in 2000, Korea Nakajo designs and builds both its ice-making modules and finished machines at its factory in Gimpo, near Seoul. The company has developed a drum-type ice maker (Korean Patent No. 10-2084981) and holds 17 additional patents and utility model registrations.
